VERSION 7.5 IS HERE!

Digital Gateway is pleased to announce the release of e-automate version 7.5. This version further enhances the intuitive and easy-to-use interface e-automate is known for. It also introduces key functionality that will helps users stay even more focused on the critical business processes that matter most.
A host of new additions and refinements have been combined to make e-automate 7.5 a valuable step forward for dealers to help them maximize their profitability and stay ahead of the competition.
These include:
- Batch Meter Estimates: You can bulk estimate all equipment that are on contract and are in the contract billing queue for which you cannot collect a meter read.
- Expire by Copy Contracts: You can configure a contract to expire by click and when the contract expires, e-automate can automatically renew the contract and set the original contract up to bill excess in the standard contract billing process.
- Fixed Asset Depreciation: In addition to Straight Line depreciation, you can now depreciate assets at a rate of 150% Declining and 200% Declining.
- Billing a Lease on a Service Contract: You can carry your own lease in e-automate and bill it in conjunction with the service contract.
- Link Vendor Invoices to Contract Profitability: You can link vendor invoices to contracts so they can contribute to your contract profitability.
- Advanced Add: you can now apply a payment received from one customer to invoices of any customer in your e-automate database.

Inventory
- Create your own attributes and configurations and assign them to your inventory items.
- New modules and files that you can update using bulk update.
- Added inventory item purchase history to available lists.
- Lock down inventory item numbers (For use with Digital Barcode).
- Higher visibility of the Preferred Manufacturer number and Preferred vendor are more visible, now reflected in:
- Sales orders
- Sales invoices
- RMAs
- RTVs
- Transfer orders
- Transfers
- e-Views
Customers
- When editing or creating equipment, you can use the Billing/Contact tab to create a new contact for your
customers, e-automate will now automatically copy the customer's Address, City, State, Zip, Phone1, Phone2, Fax, and email to the contact record you are creating.
Service
- Ability to control the order that service calls are displayed in the dispatch console as well as in Remote Tech Live.
- Limit the number of calls the technician can see.
- Limit the number of calls the technician can edit.
- Configure Remote Tech Live to display scheduled calls separately from other calls.
- Show calls that are on hold or only calls that are on hold that the technician can release.
